I hope it has more glass that what is shown right there. Looks like langham is really stepping up to the plate. First with Omega then Icon I & II and now Omega 2 (hopefully as nice as Icon towers).

Also it looks like one of the penthouses in the Icon sold b/c it is no longer listed on MLS, for a mere $1.4M.

I'm hoping Vinterra will announce something soon as they are finishing up with JP.

I'd love Vinterra to take the hampton house site and do 30 stories of a brick and glass art deco style tower.

It's good to hear OmegaII is getting revised. I was never a big fan.

OMEGA II' = OMEGA II - blue spline + more glass + 10 floors

Better prepare to move, I'd guess. They've been out there the past two days - it looks like they are getting ready to start work now.

At work, I have paint. At home, I dont have much time to learn to use google sketchup, which I've tinkered around a bit with, but thats about it.

I'm sure I could also do a much better job if I spent sometime on my drawings in Paint, but my time is very limited. In fact, I've been interupted (LOL) by work duties 4 times trying to do this post alone. I am a super multitasker.

Time to VPN into another network

Hi everyone,

If any of your have the time, there is a Baccarat casino hearing today to deal with the closure of a right-of-way on 103st to the MR parcel (proposed park).

The sale of the park yesterday to Gateway Casinos (Baccarat) was deferred, but the right-of-way closure is going ahead today.

If any of you have the time, it would be most beneficial if you could attend the hearing and show that there is interest from residents on this issue.

I will be there speaking on behalf of the Downtown Community League, and our opinion that this issue should be deferred until the rezoning application comes ahead, and public consultation is done.

2pm, Council Chambers....today!
