I wasn't able to get a direct look at this lot yesterday, so I can't verify this 100%. But from the vantage point I had, it appeared that the food trucks may be gone or mostly gone now.

Not sure this bodes well for a quick start but 80 Rainey is now pay by phone parking. Grant you, this represents minimal investment but still I'd rather see fencing surround the site than a new use.
Yeah, a parking lot like that can be torn down (i.e., take the signs away) pretty quickly when they're ready to move. Let's see how long it stays there.
The cocktail lounge approval goes to the PC next week. This building will have plenty of alcohol. They want approval for cocktail lounges in the basement, first floor, second floor and 12th floor.
With over 600 homes it's nice to see them wanting places for their residents to hang out. This bldg is going to be epic and is a top three for me personally of deals I hope to see break ground soon. Lincoln Ventures is doing some amazing work around Austin.

Agreed. Once it's built, this building is going to be the standard that all other developments are measured against in terms of public interaction and retail/commercial/restaurant space.
It's an interesting feature, but what the hell is it? If they light it, which I'm pretty sure they would, it will look incredible. Just happy to see money thrown at aesthetics over function once in a while.
