Good amount of texture on that glass. Should help keep this from being a completely generic glass cube.

I guess it is how one defines a "generic glass cube." I believe the "texture" you are viewing is a reflection of the BB&T bank across the street.

Here is what this is supposed to look like from the same angle as in the picture above:

I'm referring to the metal framing between the glass panes which is much more visible on the actual tower than the rendering shows, assuming they don't get covered later in construction.

It looks like the renderings only show two sides. Is this a CVC-influenced building?

Will the west side of this building be a blank wall? I assume so since it abuts the ABC Bank building but I have not seen renderings showing the west side (perhaps that's why).

I don't think we know for sure, but if you look closely at the rendering, the outside lighting wraps around the west side of the building. That makes me think that it might not be a blank wall.

That made me laugh out loud. So relatable. When it's just this, citizen m hotel, or abia updates...

I think it's right up to one though. If so, it will add to the CVC canyon. At least it offers that.

Unlike the glory days of this forum, when it was everyone tracking the one construction worker switching off between Hotel Zaza and 70 Rainey...
