I posted this in the aerial thread, but I think it serves as a good reference to how this tower will fill the gap. Look at the rendering above, then compare it to this shot. You can see where it will fit. Like a puzzle. At its height, its almost a shame it wasn't taller given its surroundings. But it will still stand out given its sci-fi design.
I guess its a good thing when Miami can say that 700 ft won't be as noticeable. Has the NYC syndrome, only difference is, that in NYC, towers like Verre look tiny. Miami will get there in time due. 3rd largest skyline, and given its land contraints, and population growth (metro), watch out Chicago. Miami is coming for the 2nd slot.
