Did the 'New Yaletown Resident' group show up to protest? Now I guess the court can't stop the construction from proceeding.

There were a few opposition speakers present at the public hearing. They are in court today for the appeal process, so final ruling will not be known potentially for a while.

Thanks, and are they still hung up about the height of the new condo? Or the "overshadowing" of Emery Barnes park? Or perhaps traffic/human congestions? (There is absolutely no truth to any of those)

All of the above Also asked why they weren't doing both applications as one instead of separately. And the FSR increase on both sites

I just realized today that this building will be a sort of green/black/white plaid with protruding boxes. The colours remind me of a sweater I had about 45 years ago.

Also in the last pic you can see the now completed brick building on the left. It's too bad they couldn't have restored it in a better way given it faces the park. It took what 8 years to finish that one side? Lol
