I can now see the crane sticking up in the skyline from my office at Phoenix Financial Center. My co-worker thinks I'm nuts looking out the window with binoculars.

Great, depending on how long this camera stays up we will be able to see Central Park eat, colliers and possibly Central station and the Van Buren office project all from this angle all under construction at the same time.

Will this crane start around 15 stories and get raised to 30'ish as work progresses?

I am not sure if they will build the garage first and then raise it or if they plan on putting a jumper once it's operational and putting a couple more sections in it. It's kind of short for starting out.

Snapped a pic from my office in Midtown. The tower crane gives an idea of the position of Link and how it will impact the skyline.

Now that the big crane is up..... the little one that built it is being packed up.

Still can't believe this project that came out of nowhere has a crane already. We have projects we have known about for a long time that take forever to go vertical.
