Another issue is that Halifax Transit's daily span of service is quite a bit longer than the mall's opening hours. I don't know what time they unlock the doors, but technically the mall is closed during the morning rush hour. I think the city should strive to provide a quality public service independent of the private sector (similar issues at Mumford Terminal).

I thought it was interesting that the plans seem to leave the vacant ex-Winners store untouched. Maybe they want to court a grocery store to take over that space.
