Guessing the other one on Queen isn't too far behind.

346 Queen Street - 46 units - under construction
616-620 Forest Hill Road - 56 units - under construction (I think?)
707-737 Beaverbrook Street - 48 units - site prep
76-110 Forest Hill Road - 32 units - site prep
264-270 Rookswood Avenue - 168 units (two phases) - approved
650 Waterloo Row - 162 units (two phases) - approved
173 Clark Street - 12 units - approved
374 King Street - 18 units - approved
360-364 Union - 40 units - proposed

That's a total of 680 units.

That doesn't include the units in the Centennial Building, ongoing construction south of Bishop Drive (those developments often don't go before PAC and are not well documented online), the proposed townhouses and apartments on Limerick, the building that will no doubt be built at the extreme west end of Queen Street, the building planned for 340 King that hasn't gone before PAC yet, the next phases at the very bottom of Douglas Ave on either side of the new apartment there, the small building that is finishing construction on the western end of Brunswick Street, the new building on Priestman at the top of York (not sure if this is already under construction or not), the buildings Colpitts is planning around the old train station...

Crazy how much activity there is in terms of multi unit construction right now.
A large foundation has been poured in the 900 block on Brookside. No idea of the number of units planned but construction well underway. Also further down on Brookside (600 block) prep work continues for a mixed use addition to Brookside West

Nice to see some of these pictures of places off the main roads, as we would not see them otherwise.

Another example would be Highpoint Blvd which has foundations poured and steel up for underground parking. On two new apartment buildings. Those and the possible 3 buildings total on patience will really increase the population of the end of town.

The Bishop Drive area is going to look a lot different a few years down the road. Thanks for the pictures.

Some interesting tidbits taken from this month's PAC package:

- A demolition permit has been issued to Cedar Valley Investments for 631 Charlotte Street. This property was recently sold and is adjacent to two Cedar Valley owned buildings on Regent (including the new one at 230 Regent) so presumably they're planning another multiunit building on this block.
- Values for year-to-date permits for new single family homes have doubled over last year, and year-to-date 68 have been issued vs. 38 for this time last year.
- Apartment units year-to-date are at 374 vs. 231.
- Townhouse units doubled to 38 from 19.
- Total of 496 residential units permitted so far this year vs. 296 last year.
- Total year to date value of construction is down $15M from this time last year largely due to much lower commercial numbers.
- Residential value is up more than 50% to almost $75M from $48M.
- Building permit for 343 Queen Street (7 storey residential with ground floor commercial) is nearly $7M
- Beaverbrook Art Gallery expansion permit is just over $6M.

631 Charlotte is a disaster of a property. Good riddance.

Yep. Looks like a junk yard! Be nice to see a new development in it's place.

With some work it could be quite nice but it's likely too far gone to be worthwhile.

Yeah, I think it would cost a lot to refurbish it. And financially, a developer would want to demolish it and build new to maximize the return.

And it's zoned TP-4 so they could put a four unit there.

The rezoning of the Centennial Building will be on next month's PAC agenda so presumably we'll get more details about that project then.

Looks like the former Frank's Finer Diner has been absorbed by the ever growing GO GO daycare empire.

There's an item on tomorrow's council agenda for the naming of a private driveway on the Limerick Road property that is being developed. It will be townhouses along Limerick and three apartment buildings further back on the property. This lot has been cleared and there's a construction trailer on site.
