The price was posted wrong orignally as there was HST applicable thus it showed $833,750.00 then was posted to $725,000.00. The HST is not supposed to be shown in the sale prices on SNB, or the Property Assessment Online portal. So it was more an clerical error.

I've noticed on the queen street side it is now a large hole. Looks like they are removing dirt to get ready for the foundation.

Some signage activity happening at the old Nissan building on prospect, and the for lease signs appear to be gone.

There's land prep happening at 845 Brookside Drive (just after the Heron Drive intersection). Presumably some sort of multi unit building or buildings going up there.

Looks like work is going to be starting soon on the Centennial Bldg, saw a tweet showing the rendering up at the site. Look to be adding a couple floors. Sign says “coming Fall 2023"

Saw the sign earlier. Will have to go to PAC I believe before any construction can begin but at least the project is still moving forward

Yeah, would assume next spring for a start at the earliest.

Also, timing seems kind of convenient for the sign to pop up (i.e., a week before the election).

Looks like it will be nice when completed. Wonder how much the penthouse will set you back?

Honestly, I'm not impressed with the picture on the sign. Hopefully they can do better.

The rendering of the new(ish) building looks 'okay'. The courthouse would have been a better solution, and a more impactful renovation IMO. But it is what it is.

As pointed out, we do still need a courthouse. Maybe TD Tower II would be a good spot to try and develop into a new courthouse space?

I am slightly confused as to what exactly it's purpose will be?

I thought it was said that somewhere on the property, it was going to be commercial, residential and a hotel. I had pictured multiple buildings, but it's just one building.... Seems like a confusing mish mash. I just hope the terms of the sale where strict on the completion date.

Ground floor commercial (probably including a restaurant and/or bar), and then residential and hotel units above. At least that's my assumption.

Would be nice to see the rest of the property developed at some point as well. The could build a parking structure mid block behind the building and that would open up two lots for good sized buildings.

One thing that bugs me about the rendering are the cutouts for the balconies. Hopefully they won't do the same to the front of the building but I'm not optimistic.
