dont know why they would stick their nose in that project especially since their other two projects have been idle for a good number of years...maybe they are waiting for more gov't monies

What are their other two projects? If one you're referring to is TNS, that's not on TNRED, that's on Northland.

True Norths projects get completed in record time.

As Facta said, the Sutton Place project is a reflection of its developer Northland Properties. TN sold that property to them when True North Square was started.

I'm sure it was driving Chipman crazy.

Did I remember incorrectly, that 3 large developments were to be announced in June? I thought I read that here several weeks ago?

^ I feel like many times we've heard rumours of big projects with imminent announcements that have rarely actually made it to the announcement stage.

Cool. Any photos of the interior? The side facing Higgins doesn't look like much with the metal cladding. Hope someone can remove the siding, fix it up, and make use of it.

There are also some nice old warehouses nearby on 92 and 93 Gomez Street that could have potential.

^ I got to walk thru that building earlier this year. AFAIK the current owner is keeping everything status quo on that building - just fixing up some obvious structural damages and updating life safety items as necessary for occupancy.

National Lamp on Gomez needs some structural repairs on that west wall along with life safety upgrades. Pulling down the metal facade would expose a very nice and preserved Higgins frontage. A little hands on TLC goes a long way on these old buildings.

92 Gomez across the way is well maintained but is now looking for a young new owner for their own business. I remember pouring the concrete loading dock there 40 years ago and the wooden form snapped!

Very affordable with financing available! 24,000ft2

Transit-focused high-rise banks on connectivity

Quote:
Carrington has been eyeing bus routes elsewhere: it plans to build in Fulton Grove (Parker lands); near the intersection of Donald Street and St. Mary’s Avenue, by the Graham Avenue transit way; along Provencher Boulevard and in South Osborne, Krepart relayed.

The buildings will share a “similar design language” — one focused on public transportation access, efficiency and design quality, Krepart said.

^So Carrington is the company that purchased the partially completed building at Donald and St. Mary's ave? If they are looking for common designs for their builds, then I guess the original brick facade is a goner? That would be very unfortunate, but at least the building would be completed.

No idea what they will make DSM look like but nine floors of precast structure was already built so they won’t likely be able to make it look the same as Stradbrook and this other tower.
