To my eye it's the exact same circumference as the original visitors center (it looks like they're keeping the "bones" of the building in tact). I think it will be a modern glass curtain wall that leads to the circular patio.
The old visitor center you actually step up stairs into and it looked like they were spending a ton of time during the reno on the underneath portion - the podium - that would be beneath the actual restaurant floor. My guess is that this is where the kitchen/ restaurant functions will go unless they do an open concept kitchen layout. In other words, there's deceptively a decent amount of space.
Besides, space is overrated - ever been to Little Fish?
