Excellent shots! I'm starting to appreciate Vancouver architecture more and more for some reason. It seems that we just don't look upwards enough!

Coal Harbour/downtown is significantly more interesting architectually than the rest of Vancouver. False Creek is still super monotonous and getting uglier by the year.

Coal Harbour is very impressive. But I would much rather spend the day walking around false creek. So much more to do and see.

Plus the Erickson is really going to improve the Yale town sky line. And the Athletes Village doesn't hurt much either

Great pics, guys.

Where did you come back from, Del?

Put up a bunch of pictures of my own, but they're of Xiamen, China and Taiwan. Check 'em out.

Grabbed a few shots of the DT skyline from the top of one of the Olympic Village buildings.. sorry for the poor quality its just from an old point and shoot.

I was thinking of stitching these together to make a little pano but frankly I don't know how. I shot the pics by hand, so its probably not even possible anyway.

I went out as a tourist today with some friends who were visiting. I am always amazed by this cities beauty. Will post more tomorrow, but I am absolutely exhausted right now! They wore me out You can click on the Flickr link below each image to see a bigger, better, HQ version of each image if you so desire.

This was the scene down at Canada Place today for Canada Day celebrations. Being not so keen on large crowds/large mobs of people I didn't linger long and went on my merry way:

And some other random photos from today...
Tourists flocking around the steam clock:

You don't see too many cars from Hawaii! The last one I saw was a few years ago in LA:
