It might affect (delay) recruitment of new season ticket purchases, but I suspect existing customers will renew. Especially since the teams have made it so easy to just keep charging us monthly for the tickets.
In 2020, it was not worth it for me to get a refund so the Ticats just kept my money and applied it to 2021.
But it's at the point where I need to do my own forensic accounting to make sure I know what I've been charged vs. what I used. Ticketmaster (and the Ticats ticket accounts, which draw on TM's info) does not let me see my past invoices once they're paid off. So I'll be digging through emails, and credit card statements... plus the Grey Cup ticket factored into the payment plan, and they still owe me money after we moved our seats to the next cheaper section.
The ticket business side of the CFL seems to run like a well-oiled machine... it's the marketing and product on the field that can be full of rattles and squeaks.
