...just tilt the pot towards your mouth (if heated), tilt the can (if cold).

We can only debate it if Wab Kinew is photographed with either utensil and we all have to split into factions of spoon or fork, much like everyone did Team PhotoOp or Team GoodGuyWab.

I feel like Wab should spend less time on social media posting fluffy feelgood posts and selfies like it's some sort of popularity contest, and focus more on actually being premier. It's over the top at this point.

Wab didn't post this photo. It was posted by the aunt of the person whose tire he was changing.

Not debating the legitimacy of the act itself, but you cant tell me the release of the picture wasn't planned.

Wab never misses a chance for a photo opp. Thing is, it is working for him so it is hard to argue.

How times have changed. Debating whether a tire change photo op is appropriate or not! I like it!

I love the fact that the image of him crouching in front of the tire is being pasted into any number of backgrounds. Wab sorting my record collection, Wab picking berries, etc. etc. Some funny stuff out there.

As to whether the release of the picture was planned, I have no idea. I don't think so, but I like the guy and I admit my bias. It's possible, I guess, but if true it was a pretty brilliant bit of PR.

The cynic in me wonders if we'll see a picture of Obby Khan saving a puppy from a burning building in the next few days?

Man that party has been decimated by Premier Stephenson if Obby Khan is their next poster boy. The guy seems like a dunce. I'm not a natural NDP voter but so far I have to say I'm impressed by the premier's pragmatism and centrism.

Although we can always argue the legitimacy of what he's posting on social media, I just can't help but to actually really like the continual updates he gives us on what he's working towards, where he's been visiting, etc.

Even though it may totally just be optics, at least he's trying to keep us in the loop, i.e. on Instagram he posted a short clip of him talking about his recent trip to Washington D.C. to bolster trade relations, him visiting those guys working on the pipeline.

It doesn't sell me on the fact that anything positive will happen under his leadership, only tangible results will do that; but I really appreciate the effort and I feel much more connected to his work than any other premier so far *cough cough heather cough cough*. Call me vain, call me foolish, but those things kinda do matter to me.

That being said, of course none of it matters if our province continues to crumble under his watch.

CBC Manitoba at 2pm today put out a story that former Manitoba premier Heather Stefanson is resigning as MLA.

Good. Partisanship aside she was extremely poor at her job.

23 years in politics, many thought she was doing something right.

More likely her riding is apathetic and voted for whomever was blue.

^ There are numerous ridings in Manitoba where (depending on demographics) a party can run anyone with a pulse and get voted back in time and time again. Provincially that goes for both the NDP and PCs. So 23 years in politics might be meaningless, depending on what riding she kept getting voted back in year after year.

For instance, if Donald Trump could somehow become a Canadian Citizen and run Federally as a Conservative in the riding of Provencher - he would win by a landslide.
