That isn't exactly true though. You need to look at the traffic on
both sides of the Perimeter. Currently there is limited traffic continuing west on Wilkes past the Perimeter. With the waste treatment plant and mostly farmland on Wilkes there would seem to be limited need for four lanes west of the Perimeter. Sure if you were otherwise doing a rebuild there you might plan for four lanes on Wilkes but even taking the Perimeter from 4 to 6 lanes there is a long term vision so it simply isn't going to happen.
