Very quirky, but pretty cool. What's the timeline like on this, are they hoping to go to market soon? What's currently on the site?

^^^ Reminds me a little of the Optima buildings in Evanston.

Interesting mix of the old and the new. Nice pedestrian-friendly base. Overall, it's a solid design, though I wouldn't mind seeing something more cutting-edge.

I like it, but they need to get rid of those bullshit PoMo townhomes at the base and go with something more modern there.

-Also, I noticed this morning, that it seemed window installation has resumed at MoMo.

I agree, but the pomo townhomes are probably to appease the local NIMBYs who want their neighborhood to "keep its character." I would rather have a decent-looking 40-story building with some boring townhomes at the base than an ugly, squat, 20-story box that the locals will be happy with.

Thanks for the info. I've been wondering when that would finally happen.

There's an advertisement on the south wall of the Farwell Building for the Ritz-Carlton Residences. It claims 40% sold.

^ I'd be acceptingly fine with the project if it didn't have a fake facade slapped on a parking garage podium ON MICHIGAN AVENUE. What a disgrace. The entire facade on such a busy pedestrian stretch should be functional, if on the lower floors as professional office space if not as residence. Parking could be done using car elevators, wouldn't be the first time.

2100 is another development by Rokas/FitzGerald. It is at 21st and Indiana. The renderings I posted are for a newer project at 21st and Prairie.

Yup. These are two different projects by the same developer, one block apart. 2100 is at 21st & Indiana (the name comes from the address). The new "Rokas Tower" (not the real name) is at 21st and Prairie, and is 500' tall.

BTW, there's a new design for 2100. It sucks compared to the old Avalon design.
