I got these in Prague when our Team Canada ball hockey team went there for the masters 45 and over World Ball Hockey championships. The Ukrainian Oilers worked for us....Maybe it will work for the Oil lol.

I took a liking to the PHNX Hockey Podcast when the move was being talked about a couple months ago and I still listen to it now. They were talking this week about these names and suggested the irony is that Coyotes is actually a better name for the team being in Utah and some of the Utah choices would more suit the hoped for return of the NHL to Arizona later.

We got goalied and did a very good job managing a tough team.

Our PP needs to get going or else.

We got this!

The Oilers are getting lured by Bobo's floating five-hole. We've seen it cause problems for him but you need the puck to go elsewhere. Get the puck lobbing, get Draisatl's special ripping. But shoveling that puck into the five-hole is only going to leave you exhausted. Or as the true opportunities we saw, get him to overcommit and make him scramble while maintaining control and position.

Something like 90% of goals against Bob are top right and left and yet very few guys were shooting there.

Odd.

Odd.
This is where Panther defense comes in. They are comfortable letting in a rushed breakaway because the high standing of Bobrovsky shrinks those top corners, making the opposing shooter that second more indecisive until it's too late and go for the five hole. The key is when you're shooting, you have a second man in there to help you and the Panther defense is tying up the other four players.

A thing that I would like to see is Hyman taking a couple steps back when he does his deflections, and to tip the puck in high. Otherwise he is easily solved.

One goal in two games isn't sustainable for the Oilers. Zero 5-on-5 goals in their last three games is also not sustainable. I guess Draisaitl's strategy of throwing a high hit on the Panthers' captain to knock him out is all they've got?

Oilers certainly play dirty when things aren't going their way. Then it's all the refs fault. Another uncalled spear to the groin too.

Our PP needs to get going, but man oh man our 5 v 5 is simply not generating enough quality chances.

We don't need to panic yet, but it's clear that we need to find a different approach.

Down two games is time to panic until you're up at least two goals in the 3rd period of game 3.

Exactly. Loved the bitching and commentating when the puck over the glass was rightfully so not called. Replays show the puck left the stick outside the blue.

Oh, and if it was Barkov who left his feet and elbowed Draisaitl’s head Oiler fans would be raging, calling for a suspension… Oilers fans probably just ignore Kane’s cheap shot to Tkachuk’s head too.

Anyway, I can totally empathize with Oiler fans though. So much passion and things aren’t going their way. They’re looking someone to blame.
