It's very interesting to see their justifications for the public concourse, and what the alternatives are.

This tower will be breathtaking from Park Ave to Breezy Point. Can't wait.

I cannot wait for this extraordinary icon to rise. I'm also very excited for the redesign and widening of the Park Avenue medians. Although this is not necessarily the final plan, it looks amazing and largely replicates the concept for the original medians.

Agreed, a true gem. It'll be nice to have a near half a kilometer building that isn't as skinny as Central Park Tower.

I really hope this and 175 can both get built.

This is more of a formality, but the community board gave its thumbs up, its now in the borough president phase...

Fabulous news for the anchor of our next icon….

Citadel Securities profits jump 70% on surge in trading revenues

Similar story from Investing.com:

Quote:
Citadel Securities, a high-speed trading firm, has seen a significant rise in profits in the first quarter of 2025, with a nearly 70 per cent increase to $1.7bn, according to a report by the Financial Times on Tuesday. This success is largely attributed to a surge in volatility across financial markets following the inauguration of Donald Trump.

That's one way of putting it. Reminds me of the wartime headline "Arms Industry Makes Killing on Wall Street."

Foster can be hit or miss, but he delivered grand slams with 270 and 350 Park.

Foster is way more miss than hit lately, to put it lightly. Generic work as of late.

We are very fortunate to be getting this extraordinary icon!

God bless, Ken Griffen and Jamie Dimon.

I’d like to see them having consecutive 8 year terms as President.

This tower is going to be EXTRAORDINARY! Central Park Tower's reign as the tallest in NY will be ephemeral.

My hopes for the demolition of 477 Madison and the creation of a Madison Avenue entry plaza to 350 Park have been dashed. I like Charles Tyrwhitt, but I hate 477. It does not deserve to be neighbors with the utterly iconic 350 Park

I think 437 Madison is gonna get redeveloped. They have a bunch of vacancies, and appear to have little interest in filling them. Now the retail is gone. This would be a full-block development site on one of the best blocks of Madison, close enough to Grand Central and yet close enough to the Plaza District.
