I think that Québec is Canada's best winter city (Ottawa being a close second, imo).

It's cold, snowy and beautiful

where do you live sir?
If your asking me, Sault Ste. Marie Ontario on the east side of Lake Superior. Nothing much up here which could be said for anywhere in Northern Ontario unless you like outdoor activities. Especially no skyscrapers here.

What about future winter games here in Quebec city ? I always tought it would be PERFECT. We have some peaks above 1000 meters and never get any problems with our cover of snow !...
( meanwhile in sochi Under the palm trees, it's another story ... )

I hate cold time, and I survive. And how do you think black people can do it ? They're not made & coming from cold places and they survive aswell. Come on.

With the terrible winter we have been having in Southern Ontario this year, I don't think I have been out of doors for more than three hours (total) since Christmas. Seriously, I just refuse. It got up to 3C here today and I was actually out for about half an hour to run to the passport office. It was the longest I've been outside in over two months.

What That's sad.

Personally, I think it's an incredible asset to have seasons changing. It's the right time in winter to do outdoor activities. When you're well convered, there isn't any problems at all.
If you don't like winter, Canada isn't the right place for you definitely. You'll be everytime on a sad mood half of the year.
I embrace winter when it come, and I decide to enjoy that weather's diversity.

Just can't deal with the cold. To the point that I don't even bother to buy winter coats or boots anymore - no point since I wouldn't use them. Strangely, I find any heat over about 30C equally debilitating. Thank God for central heating and air conditioning (and valet parking!).
