Not a building, but still an impacting piece of architecture that is especially relevant to the next CHOP building. The Christian to Crescent Connection of the Schulkill River Trail could be going up at the same time as this. A lot going on on this particular bank of the river all at once!

Still, it’s great to see suburban companies moving back into the city or at least opening satellite offices.

since he isnt under investigation for any corruption I'd say not. And last time I checked there is a ton of development in his district. Since that is the metric used on this site to grade politicians what is your beef with him? Or do hate all of them aside from Domb?

Regarding the Kenyatta Johnson indictment, I have long thought that the only way to force City Council to drop the hated "councilmanic prerogative" -- a source of so much corruption and bad policy in the city -- was for the US Attorney's office or the FBI or some other law enforcement agency to aggressively prosecute City Council members for the back-scratching, pay-to-play culture it fosters. City Council isn't going to reform itself and someone has to force the issue. If you indict enough of City Council members, then maybe the 7 citywide council members would have the courage to step in and force a change in the way City Council operates. That wouldn't get you a majority but it might allow you to peel off a handful of sane other Councilmembers (if indeed there are enough). I wish someone else had the power to stop City "Council being Council", but the 10 district representatives will die fighting on that hill. The Mayor cannot fix it on his own. We the voters cannot file for a referendum. I cannot come up with a way for the state to do anything about it. It seems to me like the only likely solution

I'm sure the case has many tentacles, but from what I see/know, Kenyatta actually didn't do anything that was considered illegal within the jurisdiction of Philadelphia.

Luckily, we fall in other jurisdictions that can challenge what is considered precedent and maybe bring about the change that should be coming from within.
