Yeah we figured this out on Reddit after I posted my photo. I'll try to get a good one there next time I'm in town. The smoke that we're all dealing with now makes the shot much less appealing though.

Do any SSP diagram artists read this thread? It would be great to get drawings for 150 S. Main, Convexity, Sundial, and Liberty Sky. I haven't added South West Temple to the database yet because we don't have an official height but the other towers have entries.

Have we already seen these drawings? Located at 704 S 400 W. Directly south of the EVO Granary Campus. With 6,000ft of ground floor retail this is gonna have a huge impact on that area.

New Project: Pacific Yard - Granary District Neighborhood

https://citizenportal.slcgov.com/Cit...howInspection=

Location: 704 South 400 West

The Basics: 7 floors. 292 residential units (225 units per acre). 6,000 square feet of commercial space. 197 parking spots and 59 bike rack parking spots.

Project Description:
The proposed planned development is called Pacific Yard — a redevelopment project at the corner of 700 South and 400 West in the heart of the Granary District. Pacific Yard consists of efficient studios, one and two-bedroom residential units and 6,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space.

The Granary District is a neighborhood that grew up around the railroad and manufacturing and now a hub for entrepreneurship, art, food and beverage and residences.

Pacific Yard creates a new project that harkens to the past by creating a warehouse experience on the ground level to interact with the streetscape in a vibrant and authentic way.

When you compare the two images, it looks like that Wiki photo was taken from this spot. the perspectives of the various buildings line up in the same spots... if it were from a drone, for instance, the Temple spires wouldn't be so close to the top of the Zions Bank building...

Finally! We have gone over a month without any new development announcements in SLC. That's the longest we have gone in over two years.

Convexity Tower

Does anyone know the approximate ground-breaking date for Convexity Tower?

I walked by the Broadway Place Building this morning and there is only 1 business left in the building so demolition must be getting pretty close.

I like the look of the Pacific Yard project, and it will definitely be huge for that area. 400 West has so much potential.

Is the South Temple townhome project a for-sale project? If so, that's exactly the kind of missing middle we need - replacing 4 single-family homes with 30 townhomes is huge.

I'm always excited when a project with this type of design comes along. I had forgotten how much empty and underdeveloped space there is in this area. Hopefully, projects like this will get underway ASAP and spur a whole series of dynamic infill.

Pano taken from City Creek. Love the way 95 S. fills in the space.

Wow. That's massive for the area. I wish they would break this down some more.

Foothill Village has new owners and is set to be modernized and given a facelift. There are no plans for any residential component as of now.

Does anyone out there know the approximate ground-breaking date for the Convexity tower?

I know the Broadway Place still needs to be demolished but that shouldn't take that long.

Forgive me if someone already posted these, as they're a bit older, but there are some good construction pics up on the 95 S website:
