Interesting perspective, East Van. I tend to not like the way the Shangri-La looks from the West, like for example, Spanish Banks. It looks really wide.

Took these on my cell phone while exploring the upper reaches of the North Shore last week:

The Lions:

Mmm drinking water (bottled water truck was parked in the lot next to it... hmmm)

Cleveland Dam:

The view on a cloudy day from the British Properties. Poor saps.

And these ones were from my desk. Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson gets interviewed by CBC then leaves on a bike. Got to love it.

we do have one almost impressive skyline. that said, an office tower and chic hotel would be nicely blended in with all of our condos and apartments.
