Yup, we already surpassed 2017 record breaking levels. Until 2017 I don't ever recall Lake Ontario flooding before. Parking lots along Lakeshore are also flooding as the lake levels rise above some storm sewers as well. Good thing we have an idiot Premier who has cut funding to flood protection programs and other environmental agencies. We are just shy of a metre over average right now (3cm) to be exact.

That does suck for the city/islands, but could be a good thing overall, as long as the other lake levels are high. I remember when I was a kid spending my summer in Northern Ontario, my aunt and uncle had to remove their waterslide into Lake Superior because the lake level dropped so much. You have any idea if Lake Superior has increased?

It looks like a small country capital like Windhoek, Namibia or something.

^ If you told me it was taken in some African country I would probably believe you at first glance as I don't recognize this angle. Obviously not when I start paying attention to the details.

I swear that round building at the bottom is the former headquarters of SWAPO!

The smokey haze doesn't help the vista either.

/\ If the frame was just a little larger to the right to include the Price building, it would be the absolute perfect shot.

Too much yellow and beige tones in that last Edmonton one! Seriously loving the Waterdale Bridge though, especially at night!

This is a gorgeous skyline for sure, but the uniqueness of it is a major factor in how nice it looks. Put this in Europe and it's just another old cityscape...

/\ Close, but not as good in terms of lighting and it's a bit too wide (plus the more modern buildings - of the hospital ? - kills a little bit the charm). I'm being picky here, of course.
