I think it is still few months before anything comes out of the pit. Slow progress until then.

The second Solo tower on the other side is now reaching the fast-growth phase, so that should be interesting to follow go up.

If they are smart they'll take advantage of the next month or two of relatively dry/sunny weather to speed up construction up and out of the pit so as to avoid a slowed work site due to rain water inundation and muddy/slippery site access road/pathways!

Sept and possibly even Oct will still be decent weather - the rains don't usually kick in until halloween.

Considering how much is going on at this site, why do they only have one crane per tower? Construction would be so much quicker with multiple cranes on one site, but it seems to be quite rare in Vancouver.

Multiple cranes might sound great, but if they overlap each other to the point of restricting use, then it doesn't make any sense. On Solo they had two cranes on phase II until they got out of the base of the building and now are only down to one

Depending on schedule and who need lifts the cranes sit ideal a lot. Once the forms or tables are dropped the crane does lifts for the trades. If you look around the city its 1 crane per tower/phase. So Brentwood is a 3 crane job. As others have said adding more does not increase production as the days the sub trades are on the slab the carpenters need a place to work so they go to plaza townhouses etc.

Purchased a unit a few weeks ago. Originally, we were going to wait for the second phase of Aviara but weren't too sure whether the units would be big enough (looking for larger three bedroom units). Only Amazing and Solo offered condos in the size we were interested in. Based on what I've seen from Concord's other developments, I would have had to go to the larger penthouses. So we swung over to Amazing's presentation center (for the third time). It just so happened that the developer released a plan F three bed three bath plus flex in the sold out Tower one. The unit is located in the prime Northwest corner as opposed to the the southeast corner for the F units in tower two. We liked what Solo had to offer but the units we were interested in were priced way out of our price range. It will be a long three years wait.

Good for you! Mind if you tell approximately which floor, I dont want to know the exact floor. Because I was really interested in this floor plan but unfortunately missed out. Just curious how it is still available??

The floor is in the high 50's. The developer kept this unit for himself when the first tower was sold out. He decided to release the unit for sale the weekend that we visited the presentation center. I guess we were in the right place at the right time.

Is the grocery store going to be directly underneath the first tower? It looks like residents will be sharing the same elevators with grocery shoppers in looking at the commercial floor sketches.

don't think a grocery store is ever at the podium of Tower 1. Half of the podium is lobby of the private residential tower. The other half of podium is lobby of the rental managed by Shape. They are independent of each other
