^Nice find! I guess this should be referred to as Castle Hill Addition (62 Armstrong) | 26 m | 7 fl | U/C. Nice to see some of the older suburbs redeveloping with some added density.

3180 Isleville - renovated commercial space. The mural on the south face is of Vincent Coleman (Halifax Explosion hero) widely known for his Canadian Heritage Moment which I've included below.

I really like the way that turned out, and the Vinnie Coleman is a perfect mural.

Maybe it's a stretch to call this a "development" since it is a single house but I thought this looked interesting:

Not sure where this one is. It reminds of some of the brick/stucco style rowhouses of the North End, though there are some that have wooden fronts but brick structures underneath.

Well that solves it. I wasn't sure but it had "#halifaxhomes" and 1234 Barrington was in another post so I thought it was in Halifax. The style of the backs of these 2 on the left and right remind me of some rowhouses around the West St/Princess Pl area. Example: https://www.google.com/maps/@44.6523397,...WKoSFWspyDmFrJQAuaOOg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192. There is also a building on Hollis with similar shorter upper storey windows.

Clearly, at a dizzying 5 floors, it is TOO TALL to be constructed in Halifax.

Case 23161
This was discussed here back in February though I'm not sure what came of the appeal. The existing house on the property was demolished but the lot was only graded and no activity on site since then.

This lot, along with five neighbouring properties on Bayer's Road are now listed for $5.5m: https://www.remaxnova.com/multi-family/h...1-6445-bayers-road-halifax-mls-202125690

The listing notes the Corridor zoning and that there are initial plans for a 108 unit building with five commercial spaces.

I noticed yesterday construction fencing around the old truck repair garage at 221 Waverly Road in Dartmouth next to 9 Locks and the Micmac Tavern.Looks like it will be coming down.Lindsay Construction has signage on the fence. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about this site.

I could be wrong, but I think I heard 9 Locks was expanding.

Ocean Breeze Village has been listed for sale with CBRE. That is the 57-acre plot of land with 397 apartment unit townhouses on it currently/ former military housing just north of the Dartmouth landing of the Mackay bridge. Marketed as being able to support a development of 3.2M+ square feet. Great location and will have panoramic views of the Basin

There are a few just south of Quinpool that are sort of like this - not nearly as modern or tall, but with additions turning them into narrow four story houses.

I absolutely love how this house looks but how can anyone stand living in a glass house? I'd be so self-conscious all the time.

It gives a sense of what the scale of Richmond Yards will be like. The main tower will be in the ballpark of 2x the height of the towers to the left.

Also interesting to see the cranes and construction sites scattered around. It is hard to keep track of all these projects. It would be nice to see a high resolution shot of the whole peninsula.

I'm having difficulty fixing the perspective I'm looking at in that rainbow pic. Aside from the bridge I can't identify any of the buildings easily (or at all).

It took me a minute too.

The three buildings near the bridge are on Young St. (There are actually 4 but one is behind another).

The lower huddle of buildings is Bayer’s Road Centre and the surrounding apartments.
