I can see the comparison with Humber Shores, sandwhiched between the highway and the water with poor connectivity to that urban fabric

The old city of Deira has a coherent urban fabric and its charms while Humber Bay Shores makes very little sense to me; to live in a 50 plus storey tower a stones throw from another 50 storey tower and sit in traffic to buy milk ... like the new Dubai.

I did say "here and there." Didn't mean everywhere.
