I like how the high rise is blended into the old exchange, rather than just stacked on top.

Er, uh, all I was asking was about any renders for the HOTEL part of the complex, I have seen the building renders itself, thanks. Especially now that's it's almost topped out.

The top office floor will be enclosed soon.

Jameson House looks like an architectural marvel compared to the buildings beside it.

Now office towers are all just green glops of crap just like condo towers. F'n sad.

So true!! Someone set the bar too low on design and originality standards.

OK OK. But let me say this. Yes, the Exchange in and of itself is a handsome addition to downtown.
BUT ... in comparision with the truly chic and elegant look of Jameson House, it - and moreso the others around it - look condo greyish.
That is NOT to say that The exhange is blaaaaah or ugly. It is not, but that the general
overall quality of buildings adjoining Jameson House do not "grab" the way JH does.

Totally disagree. This tower looks a lot better than Jameson.

Jameson looks good from 2 sides, this building looks elegant and well proportioned from all sides.

Really?! I totally disagree with you on this. This building has turned out great. One of the best

I think Jameson looks good in the above pics because it show how dark the glass is and gives it a more clean look relative to the other towers which come off as more typical

In that regard, I know what you mean. But I think that what grabs me about JH are the curved balconies on the W side of the building. They're very "chic", but as you say,
this is not all throughout the building, whereas The Exchange looks good from any angle. Those curved balconies (on the west side of JH) are very elegant though, even so, IMO.

Rendering definitely looks better. Now it looks like a shorty that packs no punch in the skyline, crowding into obscurity among the mediocre mid-rises.

From the webcam today -
this shows the final height of the curtain wall [fins] - which look quite transparent
(i.e. not darkened or fritted to account for open floor behind):

That glass on the roof doesn't at all match the rest! Wtf? And as mentioned it's clear so it won't even be noticeable.
