In some earlier photos look like there's some kind of black carabiner on the ends.. maybe hanging something?

It's for safety. Workers can tie on to them. They will eventually get cut off

Thanks!
With the viaducts coming down being foregone conclusion, it's a bit useless to have those opaque panels at the viaduct level (I assume they are for privacy, being on the north side (non-sunny)).

They can probably replaced with glass when the viaducts comes down.

Oh good! For a moment I was worried that this tower would have some color, but nope. Gray it is.

Don't worry, there's another tower still to be built that will soothe you with it's grey tones.

You should build a grey mansion on Point Grey Road in Point Grey for retirement, and stare at the grey sky and ocean of Vancouver.....

Love this building and it would definitely add to the urbanity of the area. If not for the viaducts, I doubt it would ever be shaped so curvy and sexy.

Looks like the lighter spandrel panels will be in a regular pattern.

I'm quite disappointed, but looking back at the renderings they're all in dusk lighting to obscure the color of the facade. I guess we should have expected this from Aquilini, especially given the atrocious tower 1

Nothing special but much better than tower 1 so far. The grey isn't so bad. I would have preferred a darker slate grey but it's better than a white or seafoam.

If the balcony glass is fritted it would tie the building together - but also block views.
