Don't expect anything beyond mediocrity from Concord in Surrey. Just take a look at the buildings across the street to see how mediocre they are. If this were in Burnaby ... Different story

Oh come on now. The entire region is full of cookie cutter towers - how many times have people here complained about the lack of landmark towers. Now there's finally going to be an illuminated tower and 'oh no it'll be crap, it's in Surrey.' Vancouver is not the center of the universe - there will be interesting towers outside of CoV, deal with it.

Rendering of Park Boulevard that I don't think has been posted. Missing the 3 Park Place towers in front that would be blocking this view.

It's kind of an odd tower to have a Signature Interactive Light Display for that reason... as it will be largely hidden by the towers around it, especially when The Hub develops.

I've seen animated GIF ads of the light display. It is basically horizontal strips of light that move up and down the building. Not a single one but a bunch at a time, with the tail end of the group fading out as it moves.

Yeah, it's positioned so that a light display will annoy surrounding residential towers.

There was an animated gif embedded in an ad that was in my google search results which showed the lighting of this building go up in a horizontal line up the whole tower, including the balconies. Either the ad was exaggerating, or that is how the lighting effect will be. Sort of a nuisance to residents in the building and outside of it.

The only reason that King George area looks lousy at present is the ungainly boxy angular mechanical penthouses on Infinity and Park Place.

Once other building get built, those won't be so prominent.
