the verizon building is 498 feet tall, so leats round it too 500 feet tall. so 3 more floors left and tower 1v2 . it will be the same height as the verizon building.

It kills me because this is the view near my house, but it won't look quite as nice. Aside from the scale (which will still be amazing in person), from this angle number 4 will be virtually in front of 1 WTC, blocking most of it :/ I neurotically researched it lol! Mind you, the view will still be pretty nice.

The view a little further south on Pier One of Brooklyn Bridge Park will look much more like that, but the Beekman will be out of the cluster.

Not true. The closest anything will come to blocking the Freedom Tower will be Tower 2. So back to research you go..

Oregon company constructs frame for 'Freedom Tower'

Oct 2, 2010

Quote:
A Oregon company is getting ready to ship out what will soon become a symbol of freedom and resilience at the Ground Zero site in New York.

Benson Industries was awarded a contract to construct the frame for the 'Freedom Tower' that will stand as a 9-11 memorial.

KOIN's Tim Gordon reports from the manufacturing plant-- where workers have acquired a special bond with the project.

Actually, from that view, tower 2 perfectly blocks 1. Also, all of the towers are hideously out of proportion and too tall in that graphic anyway.

Do you have any elevations of the final spire/antenna ring design?

I think the top floor is 1333 and the roof is 1368 (I guess the glass curtain), because I know the catwalks or the ring go up to over 1400 feet...

But I could be wrong

I just hope that Tower 1 is not fully obstructed by the position of Tower 2 (realistically it is though, =( )
