hummm if i was the Royal Bank i'd build a 400-500 meter tower, and just sell those three off for office space. some one should tell them they'd be more organized if they only had 1 tower

I think each building houses mostly separate companies which just happen to come under the RBC/Royal Bank name.

Y'kno, I think I actually prefer the 'before' photo...

Just kidding.

Nice render Maldive, though I did notice some of the buildings do seem to be somewhat exaggerated in height, but it nice to see it all in one compilation none the less.

I don't think there is any exaggeration... I guessed at 1 Bloor East but given it is nearly 30 storeys taller than Manulife (plus a huge crown) it's probably not far off... (Manulife has short ceiling heights).

And from this angle, the north/south skyline rises with grade so 500' at the lake is much shorter than 500' at St. Clair.

Even Aura isn't out of scale from this angle. If you look at the financial district, all new buildings are fairly proportionate to existing tower like Scotia @ 900 feet.

Trump even had it's foreskin removed...

If you are talking about the one equal in height to Aura... I mentioned in my original post (no-one reads of course, just gawk!) that this was my only indulgence... the rumoured 50 storey office tower (my design) on University Ave. Just looks so tall there (dwarfs One City Hall Phase 2) I couldn't resist.

Almost everything else is of course underway or will be within a year or so.

The north-west corner - the right side of the photo (where the small crane on the truck is now). The facade should face both west and north for the 13 floors of the original building that stood there.

Here's a "compilation" render I did for the Canada section... a skyline created of only new projects in Toronto... seems appropriate for this thread.

If you liked it in January, you should really give April thru October a try. ;-)

And excluding the CN Tower, nothing over 1000 feet. Unless changes are made to Trump (unlikely) or 1 Bloor E (maybe).

And Maldive's composition only shows new projects for the city of Toronto... and nothing for the surrounding burbs.
