No he doesn't. A true way to measure would be an opinion poll. While I do disagree on where to put the Ottawa portion of Gatineau LRT, I was in favor of the Kettle island bridge and the truck tunnel.

I'm not arguing for or against it. But it's hard to accuse Acajack of painting the majority of Ottawans when he stated pretty flatly that he's not saying that.

I see a lot of complaining over what might be economic considerations, viewed as something more nefarious. Somebody not liking your transit plan or opposed to the cost isn't anti-Gatinois. They just have different interests that may not align with yours.

Personally, I lean towards the tunnel. Because I like the transfer setup. And the protection from disruption. I don't think it'd be a big deal if the Wellington option was chosen.

I can understand why Ottawa Councillors saw the tunnel and picked it. I think it's ridiculous to suggest that they are bigoted because they didn't pick an option that Gatineau politicians prefer.

I at least wasn't actually referring to that project at all. Nor did I have you in mind. Just the overall attitude that while a minority, it can be vocal and that you probably have to keep in mind if you're an Ottawa politician.

I sincerely hope you and I can be friends one day.

I can't find a source, but on le Téléjournal Ottawa-Gatineau the other day, they reported that Trudeau sort of gave his support to the Aylmer-Ottawa tramway. They also had Fergus confirm that the Feds would commit up to 40%

If that's true, and the CAQ arne't lying, then that's the project funded (assuming of course the cost isn't too high for either side to commit to the amount they said)

I'm struggling mightily to figure out what this question means. Is it an outdated reference to a time when perhaps more people smoked on the Quebec side?

It's also his second post, the first one wasn't much better.

Why would induction be a problem with snow?

It isn’t induction but electric pickups in the road (similar to subways) with very short blocks that only have power applied when the train is directly above.

Yes, and they will be instructed to immediately shave their armpits and dump their wine out the window, too.

I bet you have a whole list of new usernames you are just itching to use. This one was pretty good, actually. Maybe we will let you stick around for a bit.

It's pretty clever.

Notice that I used present tense.
