pic is ~3-4 yrs old based on some of the buildings in the shot, but its a rarely seen angle of Winnipeg

Winnipeg from that angle gives me a chance to ask - What is the two tower building behind the Fort Garry Hotel? I stayed at the hotel last year and that neighbouring complex was remarkably ugly.

Lol. That's Fort Garry Place.

It's pretty ugly. All 3 buildings are apartments, I believe the easternmost one facing Fort St is 65+. Some retail space that's essentially a ghost town aside from the convenience store. And of course, topped with the revolving restaurant.
