Beauty photos on the previous page, this is one of my favourite threads for sure.

Not quite at the level of the previous pages but here's a photo I took today which I thought was pretty neat. I went for a drive along the beach down to the port and found that Bay St. George was filled with ice. Was hoping to see some seals too but there were none in sight.

If you're dumb enough to try you could probably walk across the bay right now. Obviously that would be incredibly dangerous.

Mini rant...

Whenever I post pictures to Facebook, and whenever friends of mine do the same, inevitably someone comments, "Where is this?"

What is wrong with people in St. John's that they don't know where shit is? These aren't random suburban streets. It could be Cabot Tower, could be the Supreme Court, could be The Rooms. Lots of times they're side streets so it makes sense... but... always, at least once:

"Where is this?"

Just yesterday a friend posted a picture of herself standing outside Smitty's on Duckworth Street.

"Where is this?"

B'ys... there's only two main downtown streets. It's not that hard to keep track of.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe they were posting after they had been drinking?

I think everyone's IQ just sort of drops by 50% whenever they log onto Facebook.

Still better than Youtube comments though.

Uzi, you can just share images like this. It is a pre-programmed part of Flickr. Amazing photo by the way!

My favorite office lobby in Calgary. Part of the Bankers Hall complex, but not the main lobby. I love the blend of art deco with modern stone and steel.

holy shoot. I use to think that its only cold in B.C. but I think that weather in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta is much harsher.

Quebec's murals... love. We need to do that here. There are a few blank sides that could really use it.

A cute post from Jellybean Row today:
