They're not bad looking, but it definitely would have looked better with some more texture and colour, like that brick. Currently it doesn't look too dissimilar to one of those 70s concrete towers that have been getting repainted in black or white around the west end

Some renters may think the brick looks dated. ie like the brick residential and office blocks along Hornby and Howe.
