Huh, even if I clear cache or go to an Incognito window, still don't see it. Maybe something they're gradually rolling out.

I have the same as you. Noticed it the other day. I did also notice there was no booking option, but did not notice the price tracker was absent.

I have been hit with some sort of Google AI thing also when I try to look at flights... which is annoying. Not sure if I clicked on something or if it was being "helpful". I like websites that just do what I ask and don't change

Breeze airways has started thrice-weekly service between Ogdensburg and Raleigh-Durham using A223 aircraft, thanks to the US essential air service program.

Annoying.

Sorry, not YOW related, but you guys know stuff lol. What does a 7xxx Jazz flight number indicate? Noticed a one time round trip YUL-YXU-YUL on a Q400 tomorrow (Dec 30). They also have one fewer YXU-YYZ tomorrow but they are both on CRJ900's.

Not entirely sure, but I think it's normal for Jazz to have the 7xxx series. For example, all the YOW/YUL-YTZ flights are in that range, and IIRC the YOW-YQB flight when still operated by Jazz (now PAL) was in that range.

Interesting, it seems the YYZ-YXU flights are all 8xxx series, so I thought something might be special about the 7xxx. Still weird to have that one single flight scheduled like that for us. I'm assuming a holiday extra or something, but I hadn't been paying attention if they had any others of these earlier in the holidays too.

We recently went to Orlando where we took Air Canada to MCO and Porter for the return trip to YOW.

A few observations:
  • I'm surprised that AC continues to underserve YOW despite PD's expansion. For example AC currently has 1 flight per week to MCO vs Porter with 14!
  • During our return flight to YOW the flight attendants asked that we let connecting passengers leave first as the flight was late. Many people seemed to be connecting through YOW
  • Both our flights were packed. Not sure the exact load factor but definitely >90% for both flights
  • Porter's in flight service is noticeably worse than Air Canada. A few examples...flight attendants not smiling, flight attendants on their phones much of the flight, flight attendants refusing to let us throw out a leaking bag of food then eventually accepting but glaring at us and not saying anything
  • Minor for us but the luggage at YOW seems to be slower than when returning with AC. If PD wants more connecting passengers through YOW perhaps they should check bags to their final destination for folks returning from the US
Overall I'm super grateful for PDs investment in YOW and will continue to prefer Porter for personal and business travel.

That said PD really need to improve in flight service. When flying with PD I often witness rudeness or lack of professionalness from the flight attendants. For my wife the in flight service is a big deal and she still prefers AC.

I've only got one round trip experience on Porter, YYZ-SFO last summer, and found the flight attendants pretty decent on ours. We sat in row 1 so we saw them a lot. The only time I saw a testy attitude was on the westbound leg, we ran into the typical turbulence as we approached the Rockies and the captain announced why he was putting the seat belt sign on. Many people continued getting up and the lead FA made several increasingly direct announcements about using the washroom at your own risk but otherwise to please stay seated. She even called up to the captain to make another announcement. She was getting pretty frustrated that people kept getting up despite how much the plane was getting tossed around.

I will also say there was another FA off duty travelling with her family and she stepped up and helped out a bit as they had lost a bit of time with the turbulence, so that was good to see.
