To me, it doesn't look blank. If you look toward the floors in the shadow of 5th + West Residences, there appear to be windows with faint lights inside.

Then, if you look immediately above that in the sunlight, you can see individual window cutouts.

Agreed. If height were the only thing I cared about I guess I'd be nervously optimistic....but this is bland and we can do better as a city.

I'm at the point where I'd prefer a food truck lot for a few extra years over a giant ugly tower for the next 100 years.

I agree with you in that I’m thankful it’s not blue glass like so many others, but I actually really like the design of the building. It doesn’t standout, but I also can’t call it boring.

Bobby, you should draw a diagram for it, just to see what it would look like in the lineup. Doesn't have to be perfect.

I’d be happy too if they start construction. I’m always hesitant to draw diagrams until the building is under construction for fear of jinxing it. Also, my new job (and a new baby) don’t allow me nearly as much free time or energy to make diagrams as in the past.

Taller. Just look at how it looms over 5th and West, and that's 450ft... I believe we only recieved elevation diagrams of the shorter.

I couldn't find anything that specified how many below-grade parking levels there will be, but I feel like only 6 levels above grade (even though it's probably due to the CVC) is a trend in the right direction. I'm guessing the total parking will be in the 200 range for an almost 400-unit building.

Nice tower - other than the 750'+ blank wall on the west façade. Regardless of what "might" go up next to it, that's pretty bad. Especially if the two proposed towers to the west are not built.

No. There are two ~500/600 ft. towers proposed immediately to the west of this tower.

There are some western windows. The very middle of the wall is where the core is. What I don't know is why the windows don't extend to the core wall all the way up.

What is proposed for the 1/4 of the lot directly next to this and 5th&West? I know of the proposal for where Irene's and Taquero Mucho are, but not for anything else...

There are 5.5 levels of below grade parking. Most of the parking spaces will be below grade per the architect.
