I wonder how those planters on the ends of the balconies will work out?
I wonder where they drain to? Presumably they accounted for a load of soggy wet soil in them.
These two buildings might look alright from the outside, but the inside is a different story. I have been at this project for a year, and the finishing quality is the worst I have ever seen, without question. From tile to baseboard, to cabinets, this place makes Olympic Village look high quality. I feel bad for anyone who spent over $2000/ft buying into this place. On top of all this, the owner of Marcon held a catered party in one of the unfinished penthouses to shmooze his rich buddies, during the height of the second wave of the pandemic. Just terrible.

Thanks for the insight! I live across the street and have been watching it go up for almost two years. I had been wondering about Marcon and whether they'd stack up to the quality of the Jervis next door (which in my opinion has one of the nicest condo interiors in the West End). Horrible about the penthouse party! I'm assuming that was the east tower?
So far my list of things I like about it start and end with the ground floor landscaping.
I am so glad this kind of density that forumers clamour for is being approved because as we can see it helps sooo much with affordability. Yessir, just a few more of these and the affordability crisis will be licked.
