A luffing crane is installed, to join the 3 other tower cranes at the adjacent Concord site The Colours

The excavation is truly huge! I never realized how big that area was, but now one can see how the hotel is going to fit in there. I try to take more photos in the coming times, as I live now nearby.

That area is filled with so many seafoam green clear glass towers that it is getting really tiresome. A few sleek blocks of brown glass buildings (with no balconies sticking out) will definitely make a real good contrast in that neighbourhood. It's a welcome change.

Klazu said before he had moved into a furnished apartment while he waits for his dream home to find him.

Haha, I believe we won't all fit inside the 520 sfqt temporary shoebox that I am currently in.

The place is on the fake 32nd floor (27th in reality) in a nearby building. We will have it for few months as we continue the searh. Will post some photos later this week.

A view from the other side of the Smithe Street extension with casino parking underneath. These pics were taken nine weeks apart.

You can see how this section of the walkway around BC Place, that used to be a continuous loop around the entire stadium, has now been removed.

And looking off the end of the cut off walkway we have these two views nine and a half weeks apart.

Thanks for the pics!

Interesting that they've stuck with the existing design of the concourse and built a solid concrete edge / railing wall (that some unleashed dogs seemingly like to leap over and fall to their deaths).

The landlord/owner of the Plaza of Nations (Canadian Metropolitan Properties) just may not be in a hurry to develop (they've held the site for many years).
They could also be allowing Edgewater Casino to remain as long as it needs to.

I wonder if there's a rush on those stairs given the Whitecaps are already playing, Women's FIFA starts in June and the Lions start in July.

Definitely should be finished for a big international event like Women's FIFA...

That explains a lot. I was wondering when I was at the Whitecaps game a few weeks ago how the larger crowds would flow.

Will the concourse be ever fully connected again?
