And yet, less than two weeks after the Cardero launch, Bosa had pre-sold all of its one-bedroom (443 sq. ft., $600,000-$700,000) one-bedroom plus den (682 sq. ft., $730,000-$840,000) and 718 sq. ft. two-bedroom units. Just the larger two-bedroom and three-bedroom units remain, measuring between 1,389 sq. ft. and 1,545 sq. ft. in size, with starting prices for the largest of these hitting $2.9 million, or $1,880 per square foot.

Those prices are braindead. These unit are not worth even half that money. I won't have sympathy when the prices eventually crash and people like this will give interviewed how they were tricked into buying...

The psf price is ridiculous. Looks like most of the tower will be window wall, and the balconies are tiny. Not to mention the bi-polar design

I really like the look of this project personally. Looks different from a lot of other glass condo projects.

Solid sheet marble floor to ceiling? Wow!

The pop up plugs seem a bit silly - i.e. I keep my toaster and coffee maker plugged in all the time.
Their placement should also be farther away form the cooktop.

The floor to ceiling marble slabs in the bathroom are real but the kitchen backsplash and living room feature wall is porcelain.

The living room feature wall is featured in the smaller units

Porcelain makes sense in the kitchen - less permeable for staining.

I figured the living room wall was a design feature - but still impressive for the bathroom!

Good points!

Yep, but what I find the most interesting is that the feature wall for the living room is only offered in the cheaper and smaller units and not the 2m+ ones

Probably because someone with $2m+ to spend on a condo can likely hire their own interior designer.

I've been checking this site regularly and there now seems to be something going on. Equipment on site.

Thanks for the update.

Side note -
Did Scotiabank move out of the building across Cardero?
It had a big gaudy sign before.
Or is it further to the left?

We should update the title to Cardero instead of the address.

Excavation Underway for 1575 West Georgia Street
Quote:
More than two years have passed since news first broke about the planned construction of a 26-storey, mixed-use tower designed by Henriquez Partners Architects for Bosa Properties at 1575 West Georgia Street in downtown Vancouver, and work crews have since cleared the site and begun excavation.
