Canderel has submitted a Site Plan Control application for the lands located at 890-900 Bank Street.
The site is located in the Glebe community of Ottawa, in the block bounded by Bank Street to the east, Thornton Avenue to the north, Monk Street to the west and Holmwood Avenue to the south.
Canderel is proposing to demolish the existing one (1) storey automobile service centre and Beer Store and construct a two (2) storey commercial building with a maximum height of 11.6 metres. The proposed building is to include 4,633 square metres of gross floor area (GFA). A large retail tenant is proposed at the second-storey level, while the Beer Store is expected to move into a new space at ground level, along with a number of new commercial tenants.
