This is SkyPie's photo of the site prep in the ZaZa thread. I added it here because it also shows the 5th & Colorado progress:

Nice update. The ZaZa site on the right in the second photo doesn't look too busy.

Yeah it doesn't look like much has happened on the ZaZa site since they demoed the buildings that used to be there. Part of the construction fence had blown over so I got a few photos today, looks like they put a construction trailer and a port-a-potty there, but that's about it.

Thanks for the updates Corvairkeith, the situation with ZaZa looks like there still waiting for everything to be approved by the city, if I had to guess. I'll see what info I can find out about the delay sometime next week.

They should not be waiting for any more city approvals. The site plan was approved in July, and the only other permit filings since then are for finish outs which would not be holding up the project at this step.

Unless financing fell through in which I hope it hasn't. But seeing there's a small construction trailer on site still gives me hope that it will start soon.

This one can be changed to U/C since columns are up.

It's all the way up now. I just came into downtown via S. First and it's clearly visible from the bridge.
