be patient. here in toronto, it usually takes over a year after the sale of the property for something beyond rumours to emerge. they will be announced, but it might still be 2-6 months away.

Thanks, Innsert.

So, any news on Proposal 23 or any of the other rumours, anyone? Spill your beans.

Christopher chafe, just wondering if you re still planning to share the "Proposal 23" render with us on Feb 5th? I'm looking forward to it

And Jeddy, you didn't happen to ask Mr. Mayor anything about the "major harbourfront development/ AP garage hotel" when you were talking to him, did you??

I know people, I'm desperate for some news!

LOL what else would you expect from the usual anti-development downtown dwellers. But at least they "think" i am the "upper crust". Bahahahahahaha if they only knew how far from the truth that was!

I know! There's an awful lot of negativity in those comments. At least yours and the top rated comment are positive and good! I guess the "meh" people don't really take the time to comment. The only people that comment on news articles around here seem to be angry, negative old people cooped up in their houses with nothing better to do than be scornful

Just goes to show how narrow minded certain people are.......to think one of those commentators are running for council.

Actually, I think "raphater" is a second account for that idiot walter because the first thing he mentioned about development was "Oh and where is the water for these buildings coming from" Like seriously, wtf?

When I emailed walter a while ago and asked him what his vision for the downtown was, all he would say is that there isn't enough water to build anything therefore he had no vision. I even asked him to pretend this "major water issue" was fixed and what he would like to see done with the downtown. His response was that the water wasn't fixed so we cannot build anything else.. The top two things on his agenda is fixing old water pipes and getting rid of bike lanes because they are annoying and dangerous. A real winner he is (he said sarcastically)

So I think the same person was commenting twice because i can't think of anyone else who's initial reaction to development is leaky pipes

I was commenting on a story on the cbc website about how the Mayor said he was open to do business with anyone.

This was my comment that started a blacklash:

"It is about time we had a mayor say this city is open to all business and not just the trinket shops that certain councilors only want to see open."
