Glass tends to picks ups the colours of the mullions, at Woodwards the same effect can be seen.

It's darker than other towers - it should provide a uniform look to the building.

Pic by me today.
I see 4 light coloured spandrel panels - one on each side of the balconies.

Wow that precast looks incredibly cheap. Especially the ornamentation. It looks like cardboard that has been etched with an x-acto knife.
Maybe it looks better in person?

Not really, but I'm waiting for the finished product to judge it.

The podium part has more relief, so it looks better than the 4th floor part.

Pic by a co-worker today (from TV Towers).
Looks like a lot of column-free space on the penthouse levels.
Remember, these will be rentals.

I quite like it. Hated the renders but it looks better now.

I really the glass, wish more projects used something similar.

Pic from my co-worker across the street.
The elevator core maintains the orientation of the main part of the tower,
although the roof is alligned with the offset/angled upper floors.

In Vancouver, once the building's glass is tinted darker, everyone rejoices.

If it's seafoam colour, then people cry bloody murder.
(Same goes for spandrels too, btw )

I like this building because of the contrast of glass and pink concrete. Wonder if the hotel will be a Hilton, or a name under its umbrella like Double Tree?

Sure is a huge contrast from the rendering, which shows a building with brick-coloured wall and seafoam/green glass.... A complete no-no combo, and reminds me of that Pinnacle tower at Homer and Smithe area in Yaletown: something from a bygone era.

Quite a transformation considering this was a surface level parking lot less than two years ago.
