Its a combination of steel and concrete. I'm not sure exactly which system they are using but the general idea is similar to

It is a hybrid concrete and steel structure that should be going up way quicker. The idea is its light, quick and easy - not long and extended as this one seems to be drawing out.

The progress or lack there of has been boggling my mind. I just went back, in August of 2012 a post started Excavation had begun. Its now pushing 16 months of Construction, and looking at it, I'd guess there is probably at least another 4 +/- months or more.

I know you're all dying to see the lightning speed progress that's been made here.

Thanks for the update. It is looking pretty sweet. The developer really has done a lot with this challenging site. Other cities would have just painted a few parking spaces on a space like this and that would be it.

Edit: Flats on Georgia. Who the hell allows someone to install this on their building when they go ape nuts over the colour of glass on Wall Centre?

Thanks.

I think it looks good - esp. given that they won;t all be closed at any one time.
They look better than the screens we've seen so far for 999 Seymour.

Hopefully they are aluminum and won't rust.

I wonder what the visibility is like looking through from the inside?

Also looks a bit tropical / Asian:
