I've been with TD for 15 plus years, and I don't pay any fees. As long as you have a minimun balance, it's all good. Plus, I think their credit cards have pretty good deals too - I just got +60 bucks back that the end of the year (which is pretty good, considering it's a no-fee card)...

^ Ya, they have the Emerald Visa too, which has gotta be one of the lowest interest rate credit cards out there.

The lottery was called Western Express... but I recall the program being titled "Winsday" (since it aired Wednesdays.... 6:30 on CKTV in Regina). It originated at CKY Winnipeg. For a while Wittman would bring on a co-host from a radio station somewhere in Western Canada.

Here's a little taste:

Does anyone remember having a Johnny Cash Card from Canada Trust? I was sure that I had saved mine, but I have yet to find it in my treasure boxes. The Dik Van Dykes mention the card in their song "Garage Sale" which made me think of where mine is.

Orange and black is what I remember. I also remember Johnny Cash actually being hired to do the print and television advertising, but that memory could be product of failing synapses.

So there's some retail talk going on in the Regina Construction thread that might be considered off-topic. If someone started a Regina, or even a Saskatchewan Retail thread, might it be stickied?

I do remember the Machines very well and I remember everyone called their cards the Johnny Cash Card. Also thought the cards were branded. So much for our memories, clouded in smoke. ha ha

lol that vid brings back the memories.

I think if it got enough posts it probably would.

You already bank there? I guess you mean you bank at TD Canada Trust, since Canada Trust doesn't exist anymore?

And, were you seriously 1 year old in 1984?

I was -4 years old in 1984.

If you write a negative like (-5), does it become a positive?
