I just got back from a nice month in BC. Here's some pictures of Kelowna's landscapes:

Looking over part of the Mission district from Crawford Estates

Vineyards overlooking Okanagan Lake

The awesome colours of Kalamalka Lake

Looking towards downtown Kelowna from West Kelowna

Some pictures I took of Northern Ontario from Sault Ste. Marie to Schrieber.

The Mile Hill just South of Sault Ste. Marie.

Along Lake Superior.

Alona Bay.

Approaching Montreal River Harbour.

Lake Superior Provincial Park.

The hills in the background are still recovering from a forest fire that happened almost 20 years ago. This area can be seen on satelitte beside White River (it looks like a big brown spot).

West of Marathon.

Jackfish Lake

Hydro Bay

Between Terrace Bay and Schrieber on Hwy 17.

Sorry to bump an older thread, but didn't want to start a new one or anything. Amazing video Travel Alberta put out showcasing the beauty of the province. Truly breathtaking.

Here are some pics i took today (December 4th, 2011) on my day trip to Sechelt. It is a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay and then another 20 minute drive.

Here is Howe Sound and area from the ferry:

Here are some palm trees on the main street. Felt nice and warm in the sun today:

The best part of the Sunshine Coast are the Arbutus Trees, my favorite native trees in Canada:

And last but not least, the late evening sun looking towards Vancouver Island:

All pics are my own:

That is indeed an awesome promo video for Alberta, oiler-dude. I can see Japanese and German tourists just eating it up.

Great snaps, Metro-One. I've never actually been to Sechelt despite living in Victoria and Vancouver.

Lovely, lovely shots. I miss Kal Lake. Used to swim in it daily during my Winfield days.
