Ugh, I sure hope not View Guy. I remember well going a full decade with zero new high rises, from the jukebox Marriott all the way until the Gap Headquarters...

I think I am rooting for this one even more than for Parcel F since it will have a more transformational impact on its surrounding area, and has become sort of a linchpin among the other projects in the area. this one is more 'needed'

Forwarded your request to JManc who will usually take care of such matters if asked.

Not to nitpick, but the elevation for this building clearly shows 610 feet to the top of the screening.

You have to PM him. I don't know if any mods regularly look at these threads. You want to do it?

I updated the thread title. Love the new renderings and agreed, this one is a good one.

Glad to see movement on this one!

A hearing was held June 16 for One Oak which is across the street from 10 South Van Ness Avenue. Glad to see two still in play! See information posted there.

An article in today's Chronicle says this project is getting ready to move: "...other developments that are preparing to start work, including 10 South Van Ness, a 55 story tower with 966 units."

This corroborates the SFYIMBY reporting from June.

Excellent news. The current temporary inhabitant, Bridgerton Experience, ends its run on 9/18. Hopefully they start soon after. The area is completely surrounded by a massive encampment.

What do you mean wrong thread? Bridgerton Experience currently inhabits 10 SVN, which is where this is being built.

I meant to say I had posted something in this thread which was in the wrong thread, so I edited my post. Yours is fine. Sorry for the confusion.

01/18/2022 - Today YIMBY news@sfyimby.com says in part that "The San Francisco Planning Commission will review a request to modify plans for the 55-story mixed-use tower at 10 South Van Ness Avenue in The Hub. Floor areas have been adjusted so that the residential capacity can increase from 966 to 1,012 apartments by adjusting the exterior design or height. Crescent Heights is the project sponsor."

Nice. More units is good.

And some additional renderings. The street wall pedestrian interaction appears to be exceptionally conceptualized.
