What I would really be looking forward to, is a building taller than the PKiN. A skyscraper 300, or more meters tall (The palace is 237,5 meters tall). The possible sites could be Chmielna street (opposite Złote Tarasy), or the site near ONZ roundabout (cancelled Atrium South site). Instead of building three or four office centres, one huge building could be erected, leaving precious space for future development. Does anyone know if such plans were ever conceived? I saw a picture portraying a 380-meter-tall building dwarfing the PKiN in Gazeta Wyborcza once, but that's it. I haven't heard about it since.

Many new residential towers will be built in Wola district (between Hilton and Westin)
And there are rumours about new skyscraper on Zlota Street (between Golden Terraces and Intercontinental) which will be designed by Daniel Libeskind

Wonderful. I haven't visited this thread for a year.

I might have the chance next year to go and visit Poland once again, and this time I will surely visit Warszawa.
