Indeed! Prior to Covid, local developers have been most bullish on the prospects of the local real estate industry, unlike ever seen before. This was due to improved economic progress throughout these past few years, better peace and order, increased tourism arrivals, and the Duterte administration's priority to improve infrastructure.

It would be interesting to see how Manila will be able to continue the progress once Covid comes to a pass. The Philippines has one of the strictest Covid lockdowns in the region, resulting in huge economic losses as you can imagine...although most high rise constructions have been allowed to continue so far.
